How we work
How we choose families
It matters to us that every puppy ends up in the right home, so we approach the choice of future owners with care. We look for families ready for a lifelong commitment.
Short questionnaire
You fill in a short online questionnaire so we can get to know you and understand what you are looking for in your future poodle.
It commits you to nothing and takes only a few minutes.
Phone call
Once we receive your questionnaire, we will personally reach out for a short call to get to know you better and discuss your lifestyle, expectations, and preferences. We will also answer your questions and tell you more about the litters, the process, and everything that is important to know before taking a puppy from Vita Rubra Poodles.
Meeting the puppies in person
Around weeks 5–6 after the birth, we host individual in-person meetings with future owners.
You will be able to see the mother, the environment in which the puppies are being raised, and meet the puppies up close.
Our goal is to help every puppy find the most suitable home and family.
Choosing your puppy and preparation
Once we've settled on the right puppy for your family, we begin preparing together for the day they come home.
You also gain access to our private group for future owners, where we share daily photos, videos, useful advice, and updates on the puppies' development.
Going home
Puppies head to their new homes at around 10 weeks of age — vaccinated, microchipped, and with a solid foundation of early socialization.
We stay by your side afterwards too, with guidance and support during adaptation and the first months together.
Our principle
“We believe the right home is as important as the right breeding. That's why we choose the people we entrust our puppies to with care.”
Interested in becoming part of the Vita Rubra family?
We currently don't have puppies available.
Our next litter is tentatively planned for the second half of 2027. However, all breeding plans are subject to change and will always depend on the health, wellbeing, and readiness of our dogs.
If you're interested in a future litter, you're welcome to complete our Future Owner Questionnaire.
Once our plans are confirmed, we'll contact applicants who are still interested to continue the conversation.
